Welcome to The Deli. A place where our love for great, homemade food is at the heart of everything we do. Our journey began back in 2009, where The Deli was born a little family run sandwich shop in the heart of Ingatestone. Born from a love of great food, The Deli began as a team of two, serving eggs on toast and bacon sandwiches. Fast forward fourteen years and our little village shop is now a bustling local breakfast & lunch spot, and we proudly launched our second Deli spot over in Warley in January 2022. Over the past year we have been busy branching out even further, as we opened the doors to our newest Deli in April 2023. Based within the beautiful grounds of the Hylands Estate in Chelmsford, our Hylands Deli is our biggest yet, with over 70 covers across our indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Our famous sausage rolls, cakes and pastries are crafted with care at our farm kitchens in nearby West Hanningfield and then served fresh every day in our Delis. With a focus on locally-sourced, fresh ingredients our customers love, we pride ourselves on using only the best produce in our kitchens. So whether you’re joining us for a fresh, made to order club sandwich in Ingatestone, or you’re working from Warley with a coffee and a cake, our menus have something for everyone.
